Does a good hypothesis have to be true?
No, it just has to be testable.
What is science?
Systematic process of asking questions and searching for answers to those questions.
What happens a to hypotheses that are falsified?
They are rejected
What happens to hypotheses that are consistent with the data?
They are tentatively accepted.
What is the two step process by which science usually proceeds?
1) collect data
2) interpret data
What is matter?
Anything that is mass and volume takes up space.
Scientific definition- matter is what atoms and molecules are made of.
What is the law of conversation of matter?
Matter is neither created nor destroyed.
What is energy?
Capacity to do work or cause change.
