What is first person point of view?
the narrator is a character in the story using pronouns like I, me, and we.
What is second person point of view?
the narrator speaks directly to the reader using pronouns like you.
What is third person point of view?
the narrator is not a character; the narrator uses pronouns like he & she.
What are Text Features?
photographs, illustrations, captions, maps, sidebars, headlines, special types of print (bolded, italicized, or underlined words), subheadings, table of contents, charts and graphs, bullet points, glossaries, and infographics.
What is central idea?
the main point an author is trying to make
What are supporting details/evidence?
information used to support an argument or claim.
What is Text evidence?
comes from the text and can be in the form of a direct quotation or paraphrase.
