Muscle Relaxants

A

short-term

  • best if used after NSAIDs
  • no one better than another (use AE)

antispastic (baclofen)
- prevents or diminishes spasms
antispasmodic (cyclobenzaprine, methocarbamol, carisoprodol)
- relieve spasm of involuntary muscle

Carisoprodol has additive potential
