P-A in Pronation Joint Play
A
- Patient standing arm to the side.
- Dr. takes thumb contact over radial head w fingers going in the cubital fossa.
- Dr. pronates the patients arm fully and extends the arm almost to full extension.
- Stress the radial head P-A with your thumb.

P-A in Pronation Adjustment
A
- Patient and Dr. in same position as joint play.
- Dr. then pronates the patient’s arm while extending the elbow.
VECTOR: P-A on radial head w thumb when the elbow is nearly fully extended.

P-A in Supination Joint Play
A
- Patient’s arm is kept in neutral rotation placing the hand alongside your body held in place by elbow.
- Cover the radial head with your thumb and reinforce it with your other thumb.
- Feel for spring

P-A in Supination Adjustment
A
- Patient supinates their hand and sits on it.
- The elbow is kept at 45 degree angle
- Doctors pisiform contacts the posterior radial head.

A-P Elbow Joint Play
A
- Patients arm is kept in neutral rotation placing the hand alongside Dr.’s body held stable by Dr.’s elbow.
- Dr. uses thumb and places itup and under the brachioradialis muscle on the anterior portion of the radial head.
- Dr. places other thumb lightly on the posterior surface of radial head.
- Dr. feels for spring.

A-P Elbow Adjustment
A
- Patient is Supine with arm supinated at their side.
- Dr.s contact hand is the same as the side being adjusted.
- Dr. uses pisiform for CH on anterior surface of the radial head.
- Dr. takes other hand and supports the wrist.
- Dr. flexes the patients elbow 5/10 degrees.
- VECTOR: Radial deviation A-P

LAD Elbow Joint Play
A
- Patient is Supine
- Dr. in a bunny hop position
- Dr.’s outside hand takes a contact between the radial head and the capitulum.
- Dr.’s inside hand takes a contact in the ulnar sulcus.
- Dr.’s thumbs in the cubital fossa.
- Dr. bends the elbow 5/10Degrees and distracts the elbow by leaning away.
- Dr. feels for joint play

LAD Elbow Adjustment
A
- Patient is supine with arms at their sides, hands supinated.
- Dr.’s outside hand stabilizes the humerus to the table. Inside hand grasps the distal radial ulnar joint.
- Dr. bends elbow 5/10 degrees.
VECTOR: LAD Along the line of the radius
