contraindications
A
closed angle glaucoma, hypotension, severe head injury, ED drugs

adverse effects
A
headaches (usually go away w/ use), tachy, reflex tachy, postural hypotension, topical can cause dermatitis, tolerance may develop

routes and for what
A
oral (has large 1st pass effect), Iv for perioperative HTN, HR, ischemic pain, pulmonary edema assc. with MI, hypertensive emergencies
