Q

Sildenafil (Viagra)

A
  • MOA: phosphodiesterase inhibitor (VASCULAR SMOOTH MUSCLE RELAXATION)
  • ROA: oral
  • Indications: (PULMONARY ARTERIAL) hypertension; (ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION)
  • Side-effects: hypotension, drug interactions (CANNOT be taken with nitroglycerin–potentiates VASODILATION and HYPOTENSION by activation of guanylate cyclase and huge increase in cGMP!)
