Aryan Master Race
German race that the Nazis believed was superior to other races; Non-Jewish caucasian race typified by height, blonde hair, and blue eyes.
Genocide
Etymology from genus, which means “group of people” and cide, which means “killing”; The intentional annihilation of innocent people belonging to a targeted group.
Auschwitz
A concentration camp turned death camp in Southern Poland, characterized by starvation, forced labor, and death
Third Reich
The Third Republic of Germany, which began with Hitler’s rule in 1933 and ended with his defeat in 1945.
