Night Disorientation and illusions

A

Reversible Perspective: Plane flying towards you appears to be flying away

Size and Distance: Differences in illumination may cause you to perceive a size/distance difference

Flicker Vertigo: Light flickering at 4-20 cycles can cause vertigo

Empty Field Myopia: With nothing to focus on, the eyes automatically focus on a point just slightly ahead of the airplane (find a light to look at)
