Q

What do psychologists incorrectly suggest the original judgement of good were?

A

Q

Where does good and bad actually come from? and where does the idea of unegoistic actions come from?

A
  • the ‘good’ themselves, nobles, the mighty, the high placed, judged themselves as good
  • thus bad presented itself as those who were below the good
  • The word good is not necessarily attached to unegoistic actions, it’s only since the decline of aristocratic values that egoistic and unegoistic entered consciousness

Q

What is master morality, and how does it make men perceive the poor?

A
  • Master morality is the morality of the masters, nobles, the warriors, who see themselves and their actions as good.
  • The masters perceive a pathos of distance between them and those who are poor, unhealthy, weak or impotent. These are all undesirable qualities and are thus bad.

Q

What is slave morality and what impact did it have on how men perceive the nobles?

A

-Slave morality, exists most with the priest caste but also plebs and slaves. These are poor and weak people who learn to hate and resent the power and health of the masters. They dub their masters ‘evil’ and themselves ‘good’

Q

How does Nietzsche says ideals are fabricated?

A
  • Impotence becomes good, submissions encourages, common men become miserable but say this proves their gods select
  • These ideals are all lies to comfort men of resentment
