A
Compression of the lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh underneath the inguinal ligament
CLINICAL FEATURES
- shooting pains along the outer aspect of the upper leg
MANAGEMENT
- In most patients the condition is self limited and benign, but weight loss and loose-fitting underwear may help
- Uncommonly, local steroid injections may be used in refractory cases
