- EBM is used by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Scottish Medicines Consortium and the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group
- They look at health economic analysis and directly commissioned health technology assessments (HTAs)
- NICE then create guidance as to which treatments should be available within the NHS
