Q

What does Newton’s first law entail?

A

Inertia

Every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion (constant speed) in a straight line unless compelled to change it’s state by the action of an external force.

Q

What does Newton’s second law entail?

A

F(res)=mxa

The acceleration of an object increases if the resultant force on it increases, and decreases if the mass of the object increases.

Acceleration is directly proportional to the size of the resultant force and inversely proportional to the mass of the object
