Q

What’s happens during Inertia?

A

An object will not change its motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
If it is at rest it will stay at rest
If it is in motion, it will remain at the same velocity

Q

If an object has more mass what happens to Inertia?

A

As mass increases Inertia increases so it takes more force to change their motion
As mass decreases inertia decreases so it take less force to change their motion

Q

How does newtons 3rd law work?

A

Forces always come in pairs
You push on a wall the wall pushes back

Action force ->
<- Reaction force

Q

Use Newtons Laws to explain why it is easier to turn a truck when it is empty than when it is carrying a heavy load.

A

Acceleration is the same but, it would take more force for a higher mass. Such as an heavy load. And it would take less force for less of a mass. Our full truck has more mass which means more inertia, which also means more residence to changing its motion. The empty truck has less inertia, less mass, and less resistance.
