1. Hold the toy kart at the starting point when you are ready let go of the car
2. then record the times that the toy car passes the points on the ruler
3. then repeat the process decreasing the weight as you go
4. Then keep the weight at the end the same but add weight to the toy car this should prove newtons second law as you increase the mass the acceleration decreases

what should you do if the kart is moving too fast and you cant record the times

you should record the car on a mobile phone and slow it down to get more accurate timings
