what is the definiton of the 3rd law
for very action force object A recieves from object B, there is an equal size for that object B receives from object A that acts in the opposite direction
do forces cancel each other out in this law
no the two forces act on different objects and do not cancel each other out
explain and identify the action and reaction force of the example GIRL PUSHES BOY ON ICE RINK
actions: girl pushes boy
reaction: boy pushes girl
both skaters accelerate whilst the contact forces apply,, the lighter mass girl is accelerated at a higher speed than the boy
what is the normal reaction force
every mass has a weight, when as mass is placed on firm ground the weigt causes an action force that pushes it into the ground, the ground pushes back with the same force perpendicular to the surface. this is a normal reaction force
