The highest price at which an asset has been traded over the prior 52 weeks.
52 week high
The lowest price at which an asset has been traded over the prior 52 weeks.
52 week low
An arrangement of character (usually letters) representing publicy traded securities on an exchange.
stock symbols
The sum of declared dividends issued by a company for every ordinary share. Share of company’s profits passed on to share holders.
Dividends per share
The number of shares traded in a stock or contracts traded in future or options.
volume
How much income an investment generates, seperates from the principal.
Yield
Indicates a stocks current value to buyers and sellers.
Price
A company’s net profit divided by the number of common shares it has.
Earnings per share
The ratio of share price of a stock to its earnings per share.
Price per earnings
The price of a stock at the last trade of the day.
Day last
The difference between a prior trading period’s closing price and the current trading period’s closing prive for a given security.
Net change
The last price anyone paid for a share of that stock during the business hourse of the exchange.
Previous close
The starting period of trading on a securities exchange or organized over the counter market.
Open
The highest price a buyer will pay to buy a specified number of shares of a stock at any given time.
Bid
The lowest price a seller will sell the stock.
