Q

Lower standards AO1

A

State run schools are not accountable to those who use them- students, parents and employers. They answer to the local authorities
Schools that get poor results do not change because they are not answerable to consumer
Result is lower standards and a less qualified workforce- these students will find it more difficult to find work and so are more likely to end up relying on benefits
