What are the neuroglial cells of the CNS, and what are their functions?

A

Astrocytes - maintain BBB + regulate levels of NTs around synapse + provide metabolic support
Ependymal cells - line spinal cord and brain ventricles; produce CSF
Oligodendrocytes - myelinate axons
