What are some clinical features of Doose syndrome
A
Doose syndrome is myoclonic-astatic epilepsy with typical onset 1-5 years of age. The semiology of Doose syndrome is typically variable but often includes abrupt muscle weakness resulting in falls. It is difficult to control, typically requiring multiple medications.

Doose syndrome is particularly responsive to what treatment?
A
Ketogenic diet. Other particularly responsive seizure disorders include Dravet syndrome, Infantile spasms, GLUT-1 deficiency, and refractory status epilepticus.
