What is the treatment for Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome?
A
- Referral to A&E
- Stop antipsychotics
- Give Benzodiazepines
- Fluid Resuscitation
- Reduce Temperature
- Oxygen
- Rhabdomyolysis (fluids and sodium bicarbonate to alkalise the urine)
-Relax muscles - 1st: dantrolene/ lorazepam 2nd: bromocriptine
