- Sustained, painful, muscular spasms, producing twisted abnormal postures

What are the most common symptoms of Acute Dystonias?

-Neck, Tongue and Jaw Stiffness
- Oculogyric Crisis (neck arched and eyes rolled back

What is the treatment of Acute Dystonias?
A
- IM/IV Anticholinergics = Procyclidine
- Consider for 1/2 days after dystonia and consider long-term prophylaxis
