A

Apigmentation of the iris (blue eye, glass eye) - blue colour caused by lack of melanin pigmentation in the iris rx in refraction of light through the iris

Lack of pigmentation has been assoc w deafness in white cats, white rabbits, and has been recognised in some but not all while llamas and alpacas with blue eyes

Deafness seems to rx from a deficit in endolymph production

Definitive dx is through BAER UGA
