Medial (Motor) so will see hypoglossal dysfunction, corticospinal tract dysfunction, and medial lemniscus (deccusated dorsal column) dysfunction

Lateral Medulla so spinothalamic/spinal trigeminal (sensory ipsilateral face and contralateral body) and sympathetic fibers (Horners)
