Cluster Headaches vs Trigeminal Neuralgia- difference?
Difference based on DURATION of pain:
- TN (repetitive shooting pain in distribution of CN 5) typically lasts 15 minutes.
Syringomyelia vs ALS- similarities & differences?
Similarities:
- Affectation of extrinsic muscles of hand
Differences:
- Syringomyelia is BOTH sensory & motor, whereas ALS is
purely motor.
Damage to MLF (producing Internuclear Opthalmoplegia)- when is damage bilateral vs unilateral?
Bilateral in MS; Unilateral in Stroke.
Brain Lesions- differences in appearance on Imaging?
Abscesses, Toxoplasmosis, Primary CNS Lymphoma, Metastases -> ?
