What is a pneumatic system
A mechanical system that uses compressed air to give us a mechanical Advantage to do tasks such as make things move
Define an open system
A system that lets something such as air in or out
What is a hydraulic system
A mechanical system that uses liquids under pressure To give us a mechanical advantage to do tasks such as move things
What is a closed system
A system that Contains A fixed amount of a substance such as a liquid under pressure, and doesn’t let any of that substance in or out.
Define force
A influence that can move an object , usually a Pull or push.
Give 3 examples of pneumatic systems.
Bicycle pump’s, dentist drills, automatic train or bus doors.
Give two examples of hydraulic systems
Breaking systems and industrial machines like hydraulic lifts and front Loaders
