What is the purpose of the Local Route?
The Local Route allows traffic from instances in one subnet within the VPC to send traffic to other instances in different subnets within the same VPC.
If you don’t associate a subnet with a specific route table, what is associated with the subnet by default?
Subnets will be associated with the MAIN route table by default.
By default, what route is associated with the main route table? what are the implications of this?
The main route table contains only the local route. The implication of this is that subnets associated with the main route table will have no access to the internet.
For a subnet to be public, what must it have?
The subnet must have a route to the internet
