Innervates the skin and deep muscles of the back
Lateral/posterior of mixed spinal nerves
Rami communicantes
Connects to the autonomic system
Branches off anterior side of ventral ramus
Ventral Ramus
Carries sensation and motor impulses throughout body

Many ventral Ramus tangled together
