A

Afferent is sensory = carries info to CNS
Efferent is motor = carries commands away from CNS to muscles and glands

A

Autonomic Nervous System
Controls involuntary functions
E.g. heartbeat, digestion, breathing
Carries motor messages from brain to internal glands
Carries info of gland and organs to CNS via sensory neurons
