Pelvic plexus

A

caudal to a plane passing through the pelvic inlet and dorsal to the prostate; can be identified by tracing the left hypogastric nerve and the pelvic nerve to where they meet

A

Parasympathetic, preganglionic; comes from sacral spinal nerves and supplies branches to the urogenital organs, the rectum, and the descending colon
