➢ Larger terminal branch of sciatic nerve, arising in
lower 1/3 of thigh; root values are L4, L5, S2, S3
➢ Descends down through middle of thigh and leg
➢ Gains interval between between calcaneum and medial
malleolus
➢ Ends deep to Flexor Retina
