steroid dependent patients
frequent relapses
steroid – resistant patients.

What are the S/E of cyclophosphamide?
A
Neutropenia. Disseminated varicella. Hemorrhagic cystitis. Alopecia. Sterility. Increase of future malignancy.

How is cyclophosphamide given?
A
2mg/kg daily single dose for 8-12 weeks associated with continuing the alternate day prednisolone.

How to monitor s/e of cyclophosphamide?
A
By weekly WBC measurements and it should be stopped if WBC fall below 5000/m3
