Why do you get haematuria in nephritic syndrome?
Something has injured the kidney enough that it isnt filtering the RBCs out anymore
Nature of blood in urine?
nephritic syndrome refers to urine that is red/bloody not just bits of blood/clots that suggests more of a bladder issue or further downstream
With blood comes everything so…
red cells are massive so protein is going to follow
Why do you get hypertension and hypervolemia?
Due to impaired sodium excretion
