bony outgrowth attatched to normal bone, also has GI polyps (colon)
osteoma, with associated gardners syndrome

diaphysis is the narrow middle
shepherds crook deformity
fibrous dysplasia alters shape of femoral head like a hook
may also have soap bubble osteolysis
and albrights syndrome, dysplasia, cafe au lait, endorcine (preocious puberty, hyperthyroid)
3 malignant bone tumour
osteomsarcoma ( bone forming)
chondrosarcoma (cartillage forming)
ewings sarcoma/PNET (undifferentiated)
commonest bone sarcoma, peak in adolescence 60% in knee
codmans triangle
sunburst appearance
histology malignant mesenchymal cells / bone
ALP +ve (mineralised tissue)
osteosarcoma
40yr+ pelvic pain
xray lytic lesions fluffy calcifications
chondrosarcoma
cartillage producing
