inner circular and outer longitudinal layers (with thick bands taeniae coli)
what is serosa?
epithelium and thin lamina propria.
what does frank blood mean?
usually bleeding in the lower gi tract (overt, obvious)
what does malaena mean?
usually bleeding in the upper gi tract (black tarry stools)
what dos occult blood mean?
slow/small blood loss (not visible to naked eye)
t classification?
primary tumour. T0-T4
N classification?
regional lymph nodes (N0-N3)
M classification?
distant metastasis (M0-M1)
