Q

Negotiating $$$

Get to know the package…

A

Ask in this order:

  1. ASK EASY Q: 401(k), when can I get into the 401(k) match
  2. ASK EASY Q: ask about your reporting relationships
  3. ASK TOUGH Q: TOP PRIORITY= Bonus % discretionary; % group performance; % individual performance and achievements; benchmarks reached;
  4. ASK EASY Q: what type of platform? can I use a mac instead of PC?
  5. ASK TOUGH Q: BASE SALARY= Can we do any better than “the offer”

NOTE: remember to resell yourself when renegotiating the salary:
• I like to keep my self busy and a great performance is extremely important….
