cysts, cartilaginous remnants, sinuses or fistulae. Second arch anomalies are by far
the most common.

Differences between cysts, sinus tract and fistula
A
Cysts are lined by epithelium without an external opening. Fistulae have an internal
and external communicating opening, and a sinus tract only has an internal or
external opening.
