Thyroglossal cyst

A

Mass or lump in the front part if the neck that is filled with fluid. Before birth the thyroid gland moves in the neck to its position below thyroid cartilage and above sternum. A portion of this path in which thyroid gland moves can fill with mucous like fluid.
