Hegar’s sign
softening of the lower uterine segment around 2nd/thrid month of pregnancy PROBABLE sign of pregnancy
diastasis recti
separation of ab muscles during/ after pregnancy. some get, probably go away- needs vigorous exercise
extended legs position for pregnant mom
McRoberts maneuvers- used when baby has should dystocia- fetal should stuck against mom’s pelvis

increase of immature RBCs in fetal circulation, hemolytic d/s when fetus attacked by mom Rh antibodies. results in jaundice, anemia, hypoxia, HF, Nero changes and hydrous fetalis (severe form of erythroblastosis fetalis don’t grow correctly)
indirect coombs
a blood test that checks level of Rh antibodies in pregnant mom’s blood. Direct coombs is done on cord blood to see if Rh antibodies are attached to RBCs. RhoGAM is given at 28 weeks and within 72 hours of delivery.
