Who was Samson?
Samson was a Nazarite who was blessed with strength. As long as he kept his vows, Samson was strong.
What can’t a Nazarite do?
A Nazarite can’t drink wine or a strong drink, touch anyone or anything dead or cut or shave his or her hair.
Who is unkind to Samson?
Samson married a Philistine woman. The Philistines mistreated them and killed his wife, and her family. The Philistines couldn’t capture Samson because of his strength.
What did the Philistines then do?
Samson fell in love with Delilah who was a Philistine. The leaders paid Delilah to find out why Samson was so strong. Samson was afraid of losing Delilah and then told her the secret.
What did Delilah do?
Delilah told a man to shave his hair. Then the Philistines took him to prison where he was chained and forced to ground grain. His hair grew back.
How did Samson die?
The Philistines mocked him by putting him in-between 2 columns and he pushed the columns of the temple. He died with everyone else in the temple.
