Consider a field which has a elevation of 1500ft. If the atmospheric pressure at sea-level is 1000 hpa, at what level in the standard atmosphere would the air have the same pressure as the air at this field?

Elevation = 1500ft
Pressure at sea level (QNH)= 1000HPA
PH = (1013 - QNH) × 30 + Elevation
PH=(1013-1000)×30+1500
=13×30+1500
=390+1500
=1890
