What is orthomorphism?
A
The scale at any given point on the chart must be the same in all directions and over short distances
Meridians and parallels must cross at right angles to each other
angles and bearings same as earths surface

A
Zero at the eqautor as all meridians are parallen with each other
Is the maximum at the poles and is eqaul to change of long longitude
Varies with sin of the latitude

When do you not need to consider chart convergence?
A
When plotting vor bearings on a lambert chart, since the bearing is manufactured at the station and radio waves follow great circles which are straight lines.
