Q

What is route MORA?

A

Provides an obstacle clearance above terrain or man made structures within 10nm on both sides and within a 10 nm radius around the ends of the airway.
Route MORAS give at least 1000ft altitude clearance. and 2000ft in mountainous terrain

Q

What is Grid MORA

A

Obstacle clearance altitude above terrain within latitude and longitude blocks, usually of one degree by one degree.
Clear all terrain by 1000ft when highest MSL are 5000ft or lower and clear by 2000ft where elevation is 5001ft and higher.
