What are some common causes of vomiting with severe abdominal pain?
acute pancreatitis
peptic ulcer

What are some less common causes of vomiting with severe abdominal pain?
myocardial infarction
gastric volvulus
intestinal obstruction
What investigations should be carried out when presented with vomiting?
FBC CRP ESR coag and group and hold U+E LFT calcium amylase CXR AXR
