alcohol, drug SE e.g digoxin, chemo, cannabis
What are GI causes of N/V?
infection, gastritis, obstruction, ileus, ischaemia, cancer
Which blood investigations would you conduct in N/V?
FBC, U&Es, LFTs, CRP, pregnancy test
Which sounds do you hear in bowel obstruction?
Tinkling

S&S: diarrhoea, vomiting, acute onset, fever, PR bleeding, exposure hx
Inv: blood U&Es, stool culture

S&S: abdo pain, n/v, absolute constipation, tinkling bowel sounds, prev surgery
Inv: AXR, CT
S&S + investigations for acute pancreatitis?
S&S: severe epigastric pain, vomiting, gallstone alcohol hx

What is hyperemesis gravidarum?
severe and persistent n/v during pregnancy
