Wallace worked around the world gathering evidence to support his theory. His proposition matched Darwin’s 20-year unpublished ideas. They collaborated on journals produced in 1858, prompting Darwin’s On the Origin of Species a year later.
Describe evidence for human evolution.
Ardi is a female human-like fossilised skeleton that dates from 4.4 million years ago. She was able to walk upright but had long arms and big toes. Lucy is another from 3.2 mya, she walked upright but had a small ape-like skull. Her feet were closer to modern humans but with curved toes.
