Factors increasing the risk from natural hazards

A
  1. Poverty = less awareness and unprepared, may not have awareness about evacuation, less supplies to recover
  2. Farming = could cause famine, village’s worth crop could be destroyed
  3. Climate Change = could cause new or worse natural hazards. High sea level e.g. Tsunami
  4. Urbanisation = bigger population density, more buildings/ infrastructure gets damaged
