It states that an attack on one is an attack on us all. States must be careful as if it is evoked to often, members will feel entrapped and want to leave
What is the foundation of NATO’s creation?
To follow the UN idea of living in peace with all peoples and governments under the principles of democracy, individual liberty and the rule of law.
These are mainly American ideas based on Wilsons 14 points.

What was the Warsaw pact?
A mutual defence treaty between countries of Eastern Europe that became an official alliance when West Germany joined NATO.
