People working in care setting to protect people in need of care from untrained staff.

Making sure every individual will be treat safely but making sure every member of staff has been trained for their role

Teaches staff right from wrong allowing them to not be at risk of accidentally discriminating against anyone
What is the purpose of quality assurance?
Designed to identify problems in which care is delivered, making improvement activities which will be followed up to ensure that the care worker did what they were supposed to to improve.
Who is quality assurance designed for?
The safety and care of individuals that need care to make sure that they are not in a dangerous environment and are getting the correct amount of care.
How has quality assurance improved the standards of care?
Make sure that every care setting knows how to improve and what their weaknesses are.
How has quality assurance impacted on anti discrimination?
People at work want the best for the place they are working and the people they work with therefor they will know that any type of discrimination will be took seriously as it will bring the care setting down.
What is the purpose of the equality and human rights commission?
Trying to make the country as a whole fairer by safeguarding and making laws that protect individuals rights to respect and fairness.
Who is the EHRC designed for?
Everyone who is and is not in need of care since they are trying to make the country a place where everyone is treat fair.
How has the EHRC improved standards of care?
There is now guidelines to follow which mean that everyone in the care setting should be respected and treat fairly as an individual and if they are discriminated against they can seek redress
How has the EHRC impacted on anti discrimination?
Came along with the equal opportunities act therefore it provides people with an understanding on what they should not be doing if they is a person that is different to another

Improve outcomes for people using the NHS ensuring that they have the best care when needed.
Who is the National institute for health and care excellence designed for?
Designed to help staff be more safe as they have evidence based guidelines they must follow and advice if needed.
How has the National institute for health and care excellence improved standards of care?
Providing somewhere for workers to go if they are in need of guidance or advise, this will allow them to provide better service as they won’t work whilst stressed which may affect the standard of care they provide to patients.
