Compresses the nasal aperture.

Maxillary bone over lateral incisors.

Alar cartilage of nose.

Pulls nose downward and laterally, opening nose.

Nasal bone and upper part of lateral cartilage.
What is the insertion of the procerus muscle?
Skin of lower forehead between eyebrows?
What is the function of the procerus muscle?
Draws down medial angle of eyebrows.
What is the origin of depressor septi?
Maxilla over the medial incisors.
What is the insertion of depressor septi?
The mobile part of the nasal septum.
What is the function of depressor septi?
Depresses nose.
