A
  • take frequent, brief naps evenly throughout the day
  • stick to strict bedtime routine
  • relax before going to bed e.g. warm bath
  • good sleeping environment e.g. free from distractions, quiet, comfortable temp
  • avoid caffeine, alcohol, smoking before bed
  • do not exercise too close to bedtime (2 hr gap)
  • do not eat large heavy meals
